When I created some shares and pointed the copiers that were not working to those new network shares they were able to scan documents successfully again. However I found that it did not go out to one of our domain controllers. So I check our patch management software and that patch was applied to the file server in question. This was around the time that KB3163622 (group policy security update) was release to the world. The error message from the devices that do not work is "Selected servers are not found. At the other locations they have no problems scanning to the same network folders on our file server. Scan to emails still work from them but not to a network on our file server. They are a mix of MX-2600N, 3610, 5154 and B402 models.Ī couple of months ago 4 of these copiers stopped working for the scan to network folder. We own a few sharp copiers that we use for scanning various documents to network shares.
